I have always been here
Below the wind, above the reindeer
But I am no longer close
Lost to the North, a drifting ghost
I am the caribou antlered one
A god to some for a time
I am the caribou antlered one
The Northern snows were all mine
I was the caribou antlered one
A ghost to all for all time
I was the caribou antlered one
A Northern grave is all mine
I've been forgotten by time
The myth of my being has long gone by
And so too will your gods fall
Christ and Allah, one and all
I am the caribou antlered one
A god to some for a time
I am the caribou antlered one
The Northern snows were all mine
I was the caribou antlered one
A ghost to all for all time
I was the caribou antlered one
A Northern grave is all mine

Absolutely fantastic album I stumbled across while searching for grindcore and so glad I did. Definitely going to be checking out some of the bands on this collection I haven't heard of before.

In 1014, Byzantine Emperor Basil II crushed Bulgar resistance in the battle of Kleidion. Of the 15,000 (?) captured, Basil blinded 99 out of every 100 prisoners; the last of each group, left with one eye to guide the pitiful survivors back to their own land. See, there is connexion with history, art, and harsh tenor. Imagination!
That's how much I like this record. Jeff Richardson
